The Warriors and the Raptors are both interested in the services of Marc Gasol, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
It makes sense for the Raptors, as he helps mitigates the loss of Serge Ibaka , who agreed to a contract with the Clippers. For Golden State, Gasol’s unselfishness and passing ability would fit in quite well with the Warriors more egalitarian offensive system. At 35, the veteran big man still has some defensive abilities and if he actually looks at the basket and remembers he can score, he can provide offence as well, something that will undoubtedly be needed in lieu of Klay Thompson’s unfortunate injury.
